It is with sadness that we learned of the death today, Tuesday 21st May 2019, of Mrs Aksana Afanaskova (Hickey), Loughbrack, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and late of Gomel, Belarus.
Mrs Afanaskova (Hickey) passed away peacefully at home, most deeply regretted by her loving husband Pat Hickey; daughter Shannon; father Boris; brother Oleg; mother-in-law Nora; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Afanaskova (Hickey) will lie in repose on tomorrow evening, Wednesday, May 22nd, at McCormack’s Funeral Home, Kilcommon, Thurles, from 6:00pm, with removal at 8:00pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Kilcommon, Thurles.
Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday morning at 11:00am, followed by cremation afterwards in Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare.
