It was with sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 16th February 2019, of Mrs Maura Kenehan (née Fahy), Sean Treacy Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her husband Thosie and her son Laurence, and in her 94th year; while in the wonderful care of the Staff of Acorn Lodge Nursing Home, Cashel, Mrs Kenehan passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her son Joe; daughters Teresa (O’Gorman); Bernie (Fogarty); Angela (Dunne); Elizabeth (Bryan), and Christine (Crawford); her sisters Nonie and Rita; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; daughter in law Ann; sons in law; nephews; nieces; brother in law; sister in law; extended relatives; ‘Thurles Care’ colleagues; neighbours and many friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Kenehan will lie in repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, (E41 CP59) on Tuesday, February 19th, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, to arrive at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles, at 9.00pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday, February 20th at 11.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles.
