It was with sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Sunday 10th February 2019, of Mr Michael Lyons, Innisfallen Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Shruffane, Caltra, Ballinasloe, Co Galway.
Predeceased by his brother Billy; Mr Lyons passed away suddenly, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his wife Eileen; son Liam; daughter Lorraine; grandchildren Rory, Emma, Noel and Ella; daughter-in-law Siobhan; son-in-law David; brother James; sister Teresa (Colohan); nephews; nieces; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; extended relatives, neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Lyons will lie in repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, (E41 CP59) on Tuesday, February 12th, from 6.00pm to 8.30pm, to arrive at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles at 9.00pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday morning, February 13th, at 11.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
