It was with great sadness that we learned of the death today of Mrs Margaret (Peggy) Gaynor (née O’Reilly), Mitchel Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formally Clonlara, Co. Clare.
Mrs Gaynor passed away peacefully, while under the care of the wonderful medical staff at Cork University Hospital.
Predeceased by her daughter Deirdre; the passing of Mrs Gaynor is most deeply regretted by her loving husband Noel; daughters Maura (Ganly, Trim), Claire (Lannon, Bettystown) and Anne (Naughton, Greystone); son John; sister Teresa (Clonlara), grandchildren Evan, Dylan, Fionn, Dara and Tadgh; sons-in-law Owen, Anthony and Donal; John’s partner Vera; nieces; nephews; sisters-in-law Noreen, Kathleen and Nancy; brother-in-law John-Joe; cousins; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Gaynor will lie in repose at Hugh Ryans’ Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Friday, 15th June, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm to arrive at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles at 7.30pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday morning 16th June, at 11.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
