It is with great sadness we learned of the death today, Friday 1st December 2017, of Mr Jeremiah (Jerry) Delahunty, Ballinahow, Ballycahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Delahunty passed away peacefully, while in the wonderful care of the Matron and Staff of the Sacred Heart, Nursing Home, Crosspatrick, Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny.
Predeceased by his wife Peggy, sisters Pattie and Margaret (Peggy); his passing is deeply regretted by his family Eoin, Diarmuid, Grainne (Hennessy), Orla and Cathal; brothers Conor and John; sister Philomena (Cleary); grandchildren Rory, Aoife and Darragh; son-in-law Philip; nephews; nieces; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; extended relatives; neighbours and many good friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Delahunty will repose in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on tomorrow Saturday, 2nd December, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
Arriving at St. Cataldus Church, Ballycahill, Thurles, on Sunday morning, 3rd December, at 9.30am for Requiem Mass at 10.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Ballycahill Cemetery.
