It is with great sadness we learned of the death today, Friday 29th September 2017, of Mrs Kay Reddy (née Gleeson), formerly Lower Main Street, Graiguenamanagh, Co. Kilkenny and ‘Gaelic Stores’, Parnell Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Reddy passed away peacefully this morning, Friday, while in her 94th year and surrounded by her loving family, in the loving care of Anna and Staff at Archersrath Nursing Home.
Predeceased by her husband Micheal, and her son-in-law Nicholas Hughes; the passing of Mrs Reddy is most deeply regretted by her daughters Rita (Hughes), Woodsgift, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny; Anne (Lyng) Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny; Noel, Co. Wexford; Liam, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; son-in-law; daughters-in-law; brothers-in-law; sister-in-law; nieces; nephews; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Reddy has reposed at Walsh’s Funeral Home, Tinnahinch, Graiguenamanagh from 5.00pm this evening, Friday, until 9.00pm, with Rosary was at 8.00pm. Her body will now also repose tomorrow Saturday from 4.00pm, with removal at 7.00pm, to arrive at Duiske Abbey, Graiguenamanagh at 7.30pm.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11.00am on Sunday morning, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Calvary Cemetery, Graiguenamanagh, Co. Kilkenny.
