Decision to close the R691 at Ballincurry, Killenaule, Co. Tipperary
Tipperary County Council have notified the public of their intention to close the R691 from its junction with the L2201 at Knockabritta to its junction with the L2207 at Ballincurry.
The reason for this closure is to facilitate the installation of a cattle underpass.
This road is expected to close for three weeks, from 6.00am on Friday July 21st 2017 until 6.00pm on Friday August 11th 2017.
Alternative Route Diversions:
Eastbound traffic will be diverted north along the L2201 at Knockabritta to its junction with the R689 at Ballinunty, then north along the R689 to its junction with the L2101 at Gortnahoo, then east along the L2101 to its junction with the R690 at Kilcooly Abbey, then south along the R690 to rejoin the R691 at Ballingarry Lower.
Westbound traffic will be diverted vice versa.
Tipperary County Council regret any inconvenience caused by this intended closure.
