It was with a great personal sadness I learned of the death today, Sunday 2nd July 2017, of former work colleague Mr Joseph (Joe) Sweeney, Tinvoher, Loughmore, Templemore, Co. Tipperary.
Late of Whitefield, Loughmore, Templemore, Co. Tipperary; Mr Sweeney passed away peacefully, while in the loving care of his family, and the excellent care by the Director of Nursing and Staff at the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles; during an illness borne with great dignity and courage.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his beloved Marie; sisters Bridget, Margaret, Marion and Catherine, brothers Paddy, John, Jimmy, Eamonn, Tommy and Gerry; brothers in law; sisters in law; uncle; nephews; nieces; grandnephews; grandnieces; cousins; extended relatives and a large circle of friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Sweeney will repose at Grey’s Funeral Home, Templemore, tomorrow evening Monday, July 3rd, from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. Removal on Tuesday morning from his home to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Loughmore, Templemore.
Requiem Mass will take place at 11.30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
