It is with great sadness and sincere regret that Thurles residents have learned of the death; which occurred yesterday (Friday January 2nd 2015), of much loved and highly respected retired parish priest, Rev. Fr. James Feehan, formally of Ballinure, Thurles and Boherlahan.
Fr. Feehan, who passed away while a resident at the Padre Pio Nursing Home, is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Ellen, his brothers Capt. Sean and Thomas Feehan.
His passing is deeply regretted also by his family; nieces Kathleen and Mary, nephews Gerald and Sean, Dr Dermot Clifford (Archbishop Cashel & Emly), his fellow priests, together with a wide circle of loyal friends and parishioners.
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at the Ardeen Nursing Home, Abbey Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary on Saturday, January 3rd, from 3.00pm to 6.00pm and Sunday, January 4th, from 2.00pm to 4.00pm, later to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Boherlahan, Cashel, Co Tipperary, at 5.00pm, for evening prayer.
Requiem Mass will be held on Monday January 5th at 2.30pm with burial afterwards in Boherlahan Church grounds.
