Body Of Missing Youth Located Near Templetuohy

It is with great sadness we report that the missing Athlone man, who’s last know whereabouts were traced to the Templemore area of Tipperary, has now been located.

The missing 22-year-old, named as Mr Chris Harney, is understood to have attended a music festival in Cork two weekends previous.

It is also understood that Mr Harney had contacted his family very early on the Monday morning, following this same event and appeared to possibly display symptoms of being disoriented.

The alarm had been immediately raised and following many days spent searching, latter which involved volunteers and Gardaí from Templemore, a body was recovered around 2.00pm yesterday, from bog land near Templetuohy.
