Thurles Chamber President Mr John O’Shaughnessy and two of his running colleague from Thurles Crokes AC, namely Mr Billy Philips and Mr Declan Doherty are doing a fundraising event for charity, by running the Boston Marathon.
To this end they would very much appreciate your support in helping them to raise funds for their two very worthy chosen charities, namely “Irish Autism Action” and “Pieta House.”
The three lads have created an on-line fund-raising page on www.mycharity.ie/event/john_o__shaughnessys_event and you can sponsor them via credit or debit card. You will automatically receive an e-mail from them thanking you for your support and fully acknowledging the amount of your donation.
Any donation you can make therefore, no matter how small, will be hugely appreciated.
Note. All costs for travelling to and from Boston are at each individuals own expense and all money raised will go fully 100% to both charities split on a 50%/50% basis. Their fund-raising target is €5000.00 with the total raised to date, both on and off-line now amounting to almost €3000.00 already secured.
Irish Autism Action
Irish Autism Action’s mission is to raise the quality of life of individuals and their families affected by autism, through ensuring the provision of the highest standards in education, care, support, employment and equality of living opportunities in partnership with families.
