Some good news coming in today with Nenagh Gardaí confirming that the missing North Tipperary teenager Miss Catherine O’Connell has now been located.
The attractive 16-year-old from Carrig Rua, Nenagh, had been seen in the Castletroy area of Limerick on Tuesday, June 18th last and was described as being 5ft – 8ins in height, of slim build and having long brown hair.
No details of the teenager’s activities or whereabouts between mid June last and today have been released; however police are to be congratulated for their considerable detection efforts in locating this missing person.
Gardaí would only state that Catherine was located and has now been identified as safe and well.
A Garda spokesman said that Nenagh Gardaí wished to thank the media and the public for their assistance.
