It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Monday 31st March 2025, of Mr Thomas J. (TJ) Caplis, Glenpadden, Hollyford, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents James and Johanna and his sisters Maureen, Celia and Pauline; Mr Caplis passed away peacefully, in the presence of his family, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife and best friend Betty, daughters Maureen (Browne) and Michelle, son Jim, daughter-in-law Mary, son-in-law Kevin, adored grandchildren Maebh, Eilís, Moira and Caoimhe, sister Joan Ryan (Tipperary Town), brothers Ailbe and Gerard, sisters-in-law Frances and Gerard’s partner Maura, brother-in-law Jack, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Caplis will repose at Whites Funeral Home, Main Street, Cappawhite, (Eircode E34 WR83) on Thursday afternoon, April 3rd, from 5:30pm until 7:30pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Church of St. Joseph, Clonmurragha, Hollyford, Co. Tipperary, on Friday afternoon, April 4th, at 12:45pm, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 1:00pm, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.
