Death Of Martin Duggan, Formerly, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Saturday 25th January 2025, of Mr Martin Duggan, Cragg, Newport, Co. Tipperary, Meelick, Co. Clare, Kilkenny and formerly Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his loving son Noel, parents Matthew and Mary, brother Matthew, and sisters Peggy and Kathleen; Mr Duggan (ex CIE and Bus Eireann employee), passed away peacefully at University Hospital Limerick (UHL), surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; Monica, sons Martin and Kenneth, daughters Angela, Dawn, Olivia and Caroline, grandchildren Michelle, Anthony, Noel, James, Mary, Joanne, Mollie, Dylan, Jack, Alana, Emelia, Thomas, Cathal, Shane, Lauren, Jess and Zara, brothers Mick, John and Donal, sister Mary, daughters-in-law Josie and Aileen, sons-in-law Brian, Mike, Gerald, and Ger, great grandchildren Eva, Paul, Sophie, Conor and Tadgh, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and close friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Duggan will repose at Meehan’s Funeral Home, Newport, Co. Tipperary on Monday afternoon, January 27th, from 5:30pm until 7:30pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Newport, on Tuesday morning January 28th to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Rockvale Cemetery Newport, Co. Tipperary.
