It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, Sunday 5th January 2025, of Mrs Nuala O’Connell (née Forrestal), Childers Park, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Tom, parents Paddy and Chris and sister Noreen; Mrs O’Connell passed away unexpectedly at her place of ordinary residence.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; daughter Christine, son John, grandchildren Killian, Josh, Lily and Jack, great-grandson Jackson, daughter-in-law Katie, Christine’s partner Donnie, sisters Helen, Ann and Mary, brothers John, Patrick and Martin, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law Matt, Connie, Denis, Michael and P.J., sisters-in-law Helen, Joan, Marian and Sheila, cousins, uncles Matt, Bernie and Mike, aunts Noelle, Rosemary and Molly, extended relatives, great neighbours, the Thurles Sarsfield’s community and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs O’Connell will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Friday afternoon next, January 10th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her funeral cortège will leave her residence on Saturday morning, January 11th, before being received into the Church of St Joseph and St Brigid, Bothar-na-Naomh, Thurles at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
