It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 4th January 2025, of Mrs Bernadette Ryan (née O’Donoghue), ‘Glencarrig’ Georges Street, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork and formerly of Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her sisters Breda, Chrissie and Kathleen and her brother Tom; Mrs Ryan passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at the Bon Secours Hospital, Cork.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; husband Con (Littleton, Thurles) daughters Sineád (Lahique) and Martina, son Fergal, grandchildren Rana, Yasmin, Adam, Eoin, Eve, Sophie, Blake, Julie, Lucas and Stella, and great-grandchildren Zara and Zoe, son-in-law Khalid, daughter-in-law Roisín, brothers Liam and John, sisters Eily (McGrath), Theresa (Carey) and Jacinta (Flynn), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Ryan will repose at the Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, Brigown, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork, (CP67 DX81), on Monday afternoon, January 6th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the nearby Church of Mary, Conceived Without Sin, Mitchelstown, on Tuesday morning, January 7th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Brigown New Cemetery, Brigown Rd, Brigown, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork.
