Almost 4,000 Customers Without ESB Power In Co. Tipperary, Due To Snow.

At least 3,895 customers are currently without electrical power in areas of Co Tipperary this morning, due to heavy falls of snow over last night.

Areas affected include Holycross Road, Thurles, (444 Customers affected); New Birmingham [Glengoole], Thurles, (1012 Customers affected); Ballingarry (SR), Thurles, (72 Customers affected); Cappamore, Kilcommon, Thurles, (40 Customers affected), and Finnahy, Upperchurch, Thurles (444 Customers affected).

Further west and south of the county the areas of Clonoulty, Cashel (407 Customers affected); Ballagh Dundum (22 Customers affected); Ballycamus, Cashel (104 Customers affected); Bishopswood, Dundrum, (32 Customers affected); Gurtussa, Dundrum, (33 Customers affected) and Garryspillane, Tipperary, (1285 Customers affected), are also without power due to weather conditions.

In some areas power is not expected to return until 6:00pm this evening.
