It was with sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 28th December 2024, of Mr Timothy (Timmy) Gleeson, Hillside, Ballycummin, Patrickswell, Co. Limerick and late of Lisnagrough, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his sisters Maureen (Ryan Agent), Chrissy, Kitty (Ollie Guilfoyle), brothers Michael and Liam; Mr Gleeson passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at St Joesph’s Hospital, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; wife and best friend Maud (O’Sullivan), daughters Geraldine and Annette (Byrnes), son-in-law Pat, adored grandchildren Órla, Padraig and Heather, sister Peggy (Kennedy), brothers-in-law John (Kennedy) and John (O’Sullivan), sister-in-law Kitty (Gleeson), nieces, nephews, extended relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Gleeson will be received into St Nessan’s Church, Church Road, Raheen, Co. Limerick, on tomorrow evening, Monday December 30th, to repose from 6:30pm until 8:00pm.
Requiem Mass for Mr Gleeson will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon, December 31st, at 1:00pm in St Nessan’s Church, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Crecora Cemetery, Glebe, Co. Limerick.
