Death Of Thomas Meaney, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great personal sadness that I learned of the death yesterday, Monday 23rd December 2024, of Mr Thomas Meaney, No. 4 Banba Terrace, Kickham Street, Thurles, Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his father John; Mr Meaney passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Milford Care Centre.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; his mother Teresa, adored son T.J., brothers Patrick and Sean, sister Breda, brother-in-law P.J., sister-in-law Margaret, nephews John, Daniel, Jack, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Meaney will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Upper Kickham Street, Dublin Road, Thurles on Thursday afternoon, December 26th, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, on Friday morning, December 27th at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
