It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Tuesday last, 17th December 2024, of Ms Helen O’Brien, ‘Pinewood’, Noard, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her parents Mary and Joe, and her infant sister Margaret; Ms O’Brien passed away while in the care of staff at Fennor Hill Care Facility, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; brothers Thomas, Peter and Martin, her sister Mary, sisters-in-law Jean, Shelia and Catherine, brother-in-law Seamus (Weber), her aunt Mary Mockler, niece, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Ms O’Brien will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Upper Kickham Street, Dublin Road, Thurles, on Friday afternoon next, December 20th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her Funeral cortège will be received into the Church of St. James, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles on Saturday morning, December 21st, at 11:00am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in nearby Two-Mile-Borris cemetery, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
