It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 27th November 2024, of Mr George Bourke, Ballyboy, Upperchurch, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Gurteendihy, Upperchurch, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his son Tim; Mr Bourke passed away peacefully at his place of ordinary residence.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; wife Carmel (of 67 years), daughters Annette, Geraldine, Teresa, Mary, Laura and Aileen, sons George, Patrick and Kevin, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Bourke will repose at O’Dwyer’s Funeral Home, Cappanaleigh, Upperchurch, Thurles, (E41 FN34) on tomorrow afternoon, Friday November 29th from 5:00pm until 7:30pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the nearby Church of the Sacred Heart, Cappanaleigh, Upperchurch, Thurles, on Saturday morning, arriving at 11:00am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in nearby Upperchurch cemetery.
