It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Thursday 21st November 2024, of Mr Bernard (Ber) Landy, Ballinabranna, Co. Carlow and formerly of Prospect, Ballingarry (SR), Thurles Co Tipperary.
In his 101st year and pre-deceased by his wife Mary, sisters Maura, Pauline and Claire, and brother Eamonn; Mr Landy passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of staff at Glendale Nursing Home, Tullow, Co. Carlow.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; son Ted, daughters Marian and Loretto, grandchildren Riona, Marie-Therese, John, Lauren, Eamonn, John and Emma, and sister Nance, sons-in-law Tom and Brendan, daughter-in-law Margaret, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Landy will repose at Carpenters Funeral Home, Shamrock Square, Carlow, Co. Carlow, (Eircode R93 C863) on Saturday afternoon, November 23rd, from 4:00pm concluding with prayers at 7:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Church of St Fintan, No.1 Milford Park, Ballinabrannagh, Co. Carlow, (Eircode R93 K263) on Sunday afternoon at 1:30pm (passing via his residence), arriving to further repose for Requiem Mass at 2:00pm, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
