It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 25th October 2024 of Mr Thomas (Tommy) Egan, Grange, Brittas Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Kilkillahara, Loughmore, Templemore, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Mary Jo (née Rahill), sons Pat and Michael, brother Patrick, sisters Maura (Walsh) and Nancy (Fogarty); Mr Egan passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; sons Gerard and Thomas, daughters Helen and Patricia, grandchildren Jessica, Jordan, Niamh and LIam, grand-daughter Ella, daughters-in-law Bernadette and Britt Elin, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Egan will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on Sunday afternoon, October 27th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, same evening.
His remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary on Monday morning, October 28th at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St Patrick’s cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
