It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Saturday 12th October 2024 of Mrs Eileen Fitzsimons (née Mockler), Rathfarnham, Co. Dublin and formerly of Coldfields, Thurles, Co.Tipperary.
In her 98th year and pre-deceased by her husband Paddy, parents Michael and Nora, brothers Michael, Thomas (in infancy), and Joe, and her sisters Molly (O’Dwyer), Josie (Joyce) and Kitty (Lenihan); Mrs Fitzsimons passed away peacefully at her place of residence, surrounded by her loving and caring family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; sons Padraic, Michéal and Seamus, daughters Aengusa, Honora and Regina, daughters-in-law Rachel, Myriam and Sinead, sons-in-law Jimmy and Joe, grandchildren Keith, Lillian, Clara, James, Elise, Ryan, Ruby, Luke, Paddy, Aoife and Lulu-Belle, granddaughter-in-law Lynn, grandsons-in-law Davey, Andrew, Leo and Colm, great-grandchildren Samuel, Maisie, Jack, Neasa, Ellen and Art, brother Michael, sister Sarah (Phelan), sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Fitzsimons will repose at her family home in Rathfarnham, Co. Dublin on tomorrow afternoon, Sunday October 13th, from 2:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her funeral cortège will leave her family home on Monday morning, October 14th, at 9:30am, before being received into the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham, Dublin (D14 E803), to further repose for Requiem Mass at 10:00am, followed by interment in Cruagh Cemetery, Cruagh Road, Rathfarnham, Co. Dublin.
