Death Of Thos Bourke, Thurles, Co.Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 6th October 2024, of Mr Thos Bourke, No.58 Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Matt and Bridget, brother Paddy and son Matthew; Mr Bourke passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at St Theresa’s Nursing Home, Dublin Road, Thurles, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; wife Nellie, daughters Marie, Breda, Helen, Michelle and Elizabeth, his daughter-in-law Anne, sons-in-law John, Charlie, Kieran, Greg and Conal, 12 adored grandchildren and great grand daughter, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, dedicated co-workers at Thos Bourke Building Contractors, wonderful neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Bourke will repose at Dan Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Upper Kickham Street, Dublin Road, Thurles on Wednesday afternoon, October 9th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, same evening.
His remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Thursday morning, October 10th, at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles Co. Tipperary.
