Death Of Mary Byrne, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Monday 7th October 2024, of Mrs Mary Byrne (née Fox), Tullamaine, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of The Islands, Mullinahone, Co. Tipperary and Gragaugh, Ballingarry, [South Riding (SR)], Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

In her 99th year and pre-deceased by her beloved husband Liam, sons Andrew, Joseph and Liam Jnr., daughter Marie, grandson Paddy and her son-in-law Alan Wheeler (UK); Mrs Byrne passed away peacefully at her place of residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; sons Donal, Eddie, Michael and Oliver, daughters Frances (Wheeler), Lily (Lyng), Bernadette (Murphy) and Ena (Collins), her sisters Ena (Dunne) and Sr. Martina Fox, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Byrne will repose at P. Molloy’s Funeral Home, West Street, Callan, Co. Kilkenny, (Eircode R95 Y443) on Wednesday afternoon, October 9th, from 4:00pm, concluding with prayer at 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of the Assumption, Callan, Co. Kilkenny, same evening.
Requiem Mass for Mrs Byrne will be celebrated on Thursday morning, October 10th, at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan, Co. Kilkenny.
