It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 22nd September 2024, of Ms Noreen McSweeney, Rathfarnham, Co. Dublin, (Dept of Agriculture), and formerly of Castle Avenue, Thurles, Co Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her parents Edward and Ellen, sisters Dymphna and Maureen, brothers Pierce and Fr Liam, brother-in-law James (Maher); Ms McSweeney passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; brother Paddy (Dolla, Nenagh), nephew Martin (Maher) and his wife Elaine, grandnieces Ráichéal, Aisling and Grace, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Ms McSweeney will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Wednesday evening, September 25th, from 6:00pm until 7:00pm.
Her remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Thursday morning, September 26th, at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
