It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 18th September 2024, of Mr Paul Scally, Cabra, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Oscar Terrace, Kickham Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents Paddy and Rita, sister Bridgie and infant brother Michael; Mr Scally passed away peacefully at his place of residence, surrounded by his loving family, after a long illness, most bravely borne.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; son Paddy, daughter Ava, sisters Maggie, Kathleen, Patsy, Susie and twin-sister Debbie, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, cousins, extended relatives, the greyhound community, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Scally will repose at his home (E41 DD39), on Friday afternoon, September20th, from 4:00pm until 7:30pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, on Saturday morning, September 21st, at 10:30am, (Funeral cortège travelling via Thurles Greyhound Stadium), to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
