Death Of Carmel Power, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 5th September 2024 of Ms Carmel Power; Upperchurch, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, and formerly of Victoria Street, Co. Dublin, and Geneva, Switzerland.

Pre-deceased by her parents Imelda (nee Shanahan) and Jack Power, her brother-in-law John O’Meara; Ms Power passed away peacefully, at the age of 91, while in the care of staff at Milford Care Centre, Co. Limerick.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; sisters Ann O’Meara (nee Power) and Imelda de Paor, nephew Eoin, nieces Aine and Eimear, nephew-in-law Brian, grand niece Aoibhinn, grand nephews Cian, Finn and Hugh, extended relatives, neighbours and friends both at home and abroad.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Ms Power will repose for Requiem Mass at 1.00pm on Saturday afternoon, September 7th, in the Sacred Heart Church, Cappanaleigh, Upperchurch, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the nearby local cemetery.
