It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 31st July 2024, of Mrs Johanna (Joan) Dowbiggin (née Webster), Clashduff Lower, Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her parents John and Katie, brother George and her infant twin sons John and Paul; Mrs Dowbiggin passed away peacefully, while in the loving care of staff in the Nore Ward, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny City, Co. kilkenny.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; her husband Harry, son Sean, brothers Liam and Pat, stepson Mark, stepdaughter Sharon, grandson Harry, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, good neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Dowbiggin will repose at O’Connell’s Funeral Home, Killenaule, Thurles (E41 HH66) on Saturday afternoon, August 3rd from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Church of the Assumption, Ballingarry (SR), Thurles on Sunday morning, August 4th, to further repost for Requiem Mass at 10:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.
