Death Of Antóin Ó Briain, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great personal sadness that I learned of the death, today Thursday 1st August 2024, of Mr Antóin Ó Briain, “Caragh”, Brittas Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his wife Alice (2019), son Micheál, brothers Pat and Seamus, sisters Mary and Margaret; Mr Ó Briain passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; son Jim, daughter Edel, daughter-in-law Carol and son-in-law Ger, sister-in-law Mary (Guilfoyle), brother-in-law Joe, adored grandchildren Michele, Andrew, Kevin, Sarah, Oisín, Conall and Aoileann, nieces and nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of dear friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Ó Briain will repose at his place of residence, [E41 Y286] on Saturday afternoon, August 3rd, from 3:00pm, until 7:00pm, before being received into the nearby Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles at 8:00pm.
Requiem Mass for Mr Ó Briain will be celebrated on Sunday morning, August 4th, at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
