It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 21st July 2024, of Sr. Mary O’Grady, Presentation Convent, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Ballinphile, Duncannon, Co. Wexford.
Pre-deceased by her sister Aggie (Sr. Brigida) and her brothers, Eddie and Jimmy; Sr. Mary sadly passed away, while in the loving care of her Presentation Community and carers.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; her sisters Sr. Mary Agnes and Lily Donnelly, her brothers, Frank and Richie, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, extended relatives, Thurles Presentation Community and Congregation, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Sr. Mary will repose in the Presentation Convent Chapel, Cathedral Street, Thurles, (close to and east of Thurles Cathedral) on tomorrow afternoon Tuesday, July 23rd, from 3:00pm, concluding with Evening Prayer at 6:00pm.
Requiem Mass for Sr. Mary will be celebrated in the Convent Chapel at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 24rd, followed by interment in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
