Death Of Philomena Cullagh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Monday 22nd July 2024, of Mrs Philomena Cullagh (née Slattery) Nails Hill, Ballycahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband Des and brother Eddie; Mrs Cullagh passed away peacefully at her place of residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; children Donacha, Tom, MP (Matt), Eamon, Des, Liam, Bobby, Seamus, Maggie, Johanna and Joe, grandchildren Desi, Edel, Róisín, Tomás, Saoirse, Ger, Eddie, Cameron, Calvin, Alex and Talia, daughters-in-law Alexandra, Anne Marie, Carlisle, Lizl, Robyn and Siobhán, sisters Mary (Hanna), Josephine (Ryan) and twin sister Margaret (Stakelum), brothers-in-law John and Soliman, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Cullagh will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Tuesday afternoon, July 23rd, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of St Cataldus, Ballycahill, Thurles, at 8:00pm same evening.
Requiem Mass for Mrs Cullagh will be celebrated on Wednesday morning, July 24th, at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in nearby Ballycahill Cemetery, Ballycahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
