It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Friday 17th May 2024, of Mr John (Johnny) Ryan, Byrnesgrove, Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Maxtown, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents Nellie and John and his brothers and sisters; Mr Ryan passed away peacefully, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny city, Co. Kilkenny.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing and devoted family; his sons Derek, John and Colin and his daughter Lorraine and their mother Josephine, his partner Annie, brother Michael, sisters Josie, Alice, Dee, Kathleen and Mary, daughters-in-law Ellen and Imelda, son-in-law Paul, grandchildren Kym, Meg and Sal, Izzy, Zarah, Ben and Evie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Ryan will repose at the Funeral Home of P. Molloy, Callan, Co. Kilkenny (Eircode R95 Y443), on Wednesday afternoon, May 22nd, from 5:00pm, same concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7:00pm.
His remains will be received into the Church of St. Michael, Mullinahone, Thurles (Eircode E41 EW94) to further repose for Requiem Mass on Thursday morning, May 23rd, at 10:00am.
A Cremation Service will follow later in The Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin at 2.15pm. (Eircode D6W HY98).
