It was with great sadness that we learned of the death today, Wednesday 20th March 2024, of Mrs Sheila Healy (née O’Sullivan), Dunboy House, Leigh, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Brackcluin, Castletownbere, West Cork.
In her 99th year and pre-deceased by her husband Tom, son Philip, daughter-in-law Marianne, grandson David Healy and great-grandson Darach (Ahearne); Mrs Healy passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family while in the care of staff at Ardeen Nursing Home, Abbey Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Mary (Cooney – Youghal, Co. Cork), sons Tommy, John, Pat, Michael, Denis, Brendan and Martin, son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Aileen, Marlena, Margaret, Margaret, Mary and Martin’s partner Christine, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Healy will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on Friday afternoon, March 22nd, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm same evening.
Her funeral cortège will leave her Two-Mile-Borris residence on Saturday morning, March 23rd, before being received into the Church of St James, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles, at 11:00am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in nearby Two-Mile-Borris Cemetery, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
