It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 14th March 2024, of Mr Michael (Mick) O’Connell, Boherlug, Cashel Road, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents Breda and Sonny and his brother John; Mr O’Connell passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family while in the care of staff at Limerick University Hospital, Co. Limerick.
His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his devoted wife Maura (nee Frewen), daughter Deirdre, son Michael, son-in-law Stephen, adored grandsons Chris and Lucas, brothers Eugene, Pat, Dick, Jim and Donal, his sisters Rena and Marian, brother and sisters-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr O’Connell will repose at his residence Boherlug, Cashel Road, Killenaule, [E41 RW64], on Sunday afternoon next, March 17th, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm.
His remains will be received into the Church St. Mary, Bailey Street, Killenaule, Thurles on Monday morning, March 18th to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by cremation on Tuesday afternoon, March 19th at 1:00pm in Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare.
