Death Of Eileen Barrett, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 26th January 2024, of Mrs Eileen Barrett (née Danagher), Crohane, Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

In her 92nd year, pre-deceased by her loving husband Liam and sister Kathleen; Mrs Barrett passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at the Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughters Breda (Quirke), Dolores (Bourke), Helen (Linnane), Yvonne (O’Sullivan), Laurie (Kirby), sons Seán and Michéal, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, adored grandchildren and great grandchildren, her close cousins Séan (O’Brien) and Michael (Danagher), sisters-in-law Helen (Tynan) and Josie (Fitzgerald), nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Barrett will repose in the home of her daughter Dolores, at Monslatt, Killenaule, Thurles (E41 KR53) on Tuesday afternoon, January 30th from 4:00pm until 8:00pm same night. Her remains will be received into the Church of St. Mary, Bailey Street, Killenaule, Thurles on Wednesday morning, January 31st, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Drangan Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
