Body Of Male With Serious Injuries Located In Tipperary.

An investigation is currently under way following the death of a man whose body was located in a house in Co Tipperary.

The body was located in a house in the townland of Ballycrana, close to Kilross village, southwest of Tipperary town, near to the Tipperary/Limerick border. The body was discovered shortly after 4:00am and the area has since been cordoned off, pending further investigation by Gardaí.
We understood the man is believed to have suffered serious injuries.

The office of the State Pathologist has been notified and following a post-mortem examination; the results of same will determine the course of any future Garda investigation.
