It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 18th August 2023, of Mrs Alice Cooke (née Shanahan), Childers Park, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her parents Jack and Mary, brother John and sister Manie; sadly Mrs Cooke passed away tragically, surrounded by her heartbroken family.
Her passing is most sadly missed and deeply regretted by her loving family; husband Jack, son Trevor, daughter Olivia, daughter-in-law Marcella, sisters Kathleen and Nell, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Cooke will repose in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on Tuesday afternoon, August 22nd, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Church of St. Joseph and St. Brigid, Bothar-na-Naomh, Thurles, on Wednesday morning, August 23rd, at 9:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 10:00am followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
