It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 27th July 2023, of Mrs Josephine (Josie) Tierney (née Keane) Cashel Road, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Tierney passed away peacefully, while in the presence of her heartbroken family, in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel.
Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her husband Jim, children Mary (Cleary), Eamonn, Breda (Corcoran) and Martin, sons-in-law Timmy and Ronan, adored grandchildren Seán, Conor and Dónal, Dylan and Clodagh, extended relatives, good neighbours and many friends.
The earthly remains of Mrs Tierney will repose at her home, Cashel Road, Killeanule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, (E41 Y635), tomorrow, Saturday afternoon, July 29th, from 4:30pm until 8:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into St. Mary’s Church, Bailey Street, Killenaule, Thurles to further repose for Requiem Mass on Sunday morning at 11:00am, before being laid to rest, immediately afterwards, in River Street Cemetery, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
