It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Saturday 31st December 2022, of Mr Charlie Mooney, Ormonde Lodge, Friar Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Fianna Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents Clare and Jimmy, brothers Gerard and Joseph, the passing of Mr Mooney is most deeply regretted by his sisters Mary and Rita, brother Seamus, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in law, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Mooney will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary on Thursday evening next January 5th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles at 7.45pm.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning next, January 6th, at 11:00am, followed by interment in St. Patrick’s cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
