Forty Year Old Motorcyclist Looses Life In South Tipperary.

A male motorcyclist has sadly lost his life, following a collision with a lorry in South Co. Tipperary.

The fatal crash occurred on New Road, Lisronagh, Clonmel at approximately 10:00am.

The body of the motorcyclist, a man understood to be aged in his 40s, was removed to Tipperary University Hospital.

The road was closed this morning and diversions were put in place, as Gardaí awaited the arrival of forensic collision investigators.
No other injuries have been reported.

Gardaí continue to appeal for any witnesses to come forward, and are asking that any road users who may have dash camera footage, while travelling on New Road, to make same immediately available.

Gardaí are particularly looking to speak with a number of motorists who may have been present at, or driven past, the collision to make contact with them.
