It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday, Thursday 22nd September, 2022, of Ms Eileen Cahill, Innisfallen Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Drom Village, Templemore, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her parents Jim and Margaret and her brother Tom; Ms Cahill passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff of Acorn Lodge Nursing Home, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her heartbroken family, twin sister Frances, sister Bridget, sister-in-law Hanora, nephews J.J. (and his wife Attracta) and Michael, nieces Lianne (and her husband Jim), Evelyn (and her husband Michael) and Caoimhe, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, brothers-in-law Pierce and Dick, cousins, extended relatives, former colleagues in Dept Social Protection, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Ms Cahill will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on Sunday evening, September 25th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
Her body will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Monday morning, September 26th, at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by Private Cremation.
