Green Party leader Mr Eamon Ryan is in mourning following the news of the passing of his mother, Mrs Mary Ryan, “unexpectedly but peacefully“, while on holiday.
Mrs Ryan passed away following an accident while on holiday on Inisbofin Island, in the Aran Islands, latter situated off the coast of Co. Galway.
She was transported by air ambulance to Galway University Hospital, but alas sadly died on Tuesday evening last.
Her death notice sadly reads:-
RYAN (née Cahill) (Sandycove, Co. Dublin) August 9th, 2022 (unexpectedly but peacefully) Mary, beloved wife of the late Bob, loving mother of John, Eamon, Robert and Marion; Sadly missed by her children and their partners, her adored grandchildren Harriet, Lorcan, Séamus, Fintan, Isabella, Jack, Oliver, Ino, Tom, Róise, Sean and Harry, great-grandson George, her sisters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends
Removal Saturday (August 13th) from her home to St. Joseph’s Church, Glasthule arriving for 10:00am Requiem Mass, which can be viewed online on www.churchservices.tv/glasthule, followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton.
