It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Tuesday, 2nd August, 2022, of Mrs Nora Doherty (née O’Donoghue), Ard na Croise, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her husband Paddy and daughter Rosie, her brothers John, Connie, Moss and Jimmy and her sister Chris (Lawlor); Mrs Doherty passed away peacefully, while in her 93rd year, surrounded by her loving family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her daughters Mary, Jean, Anne-Marie, Catherine and Nora, her sons Larry, Fr. Con, Pat, Ger, Ken and nephew Seán, her sister Kay (Moloney), her 29 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, carers, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Doherty will repose at Hugh Ryan’s, Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Saturday evening next, August 6th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, before being received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles at 8:00pm.
Her body will further repose for Requiem Mass on Sunday afternoon, August 7th, at 12:30pm.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
