It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Sunday, 8th May, 2022, of Mr Cornelius (Connie) Morrissey, Fort Edward House, Ballinahow, Ballycahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his sister Joan Rynn; Mr Morrissey passed away, while in the care of staff at University Hospital Waterford, following an illness most bravely borne.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Moira (Kennelly); immediate family members Jane, Pamela, Edward, Claire and Conor; his 12 grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers Eddie (Newbridge), Tom (Dongourney) and Jimmy (Thurles), sister Mary (Galway), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Morrissey will repose at O’Dwyer’s Funeral Home, Upperchurch, Thurles on Wednesday evening, May 11th, from 5:00pm with removal at 8:00pm, to be received into the church of St. Cataldus, Ballycahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 11:30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in nearby Ballycahill cemetery, Moneydass Ballycahill, Co.Tipperary.
For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mr Morrissey, but due to distance or ill health are unable to do so, same can be viewed online (Link To Follow).
