Death Of Peggy Clancy, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today, 28th March 2022,of Mrs Margaret (Peggy) Clancy (née Pollard), Old Bridge, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary and formerly Gortnahoe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

In her 97th year and pre-deceased by her husband Jimmy and son David; Mrs Clancy passed away while in the care of staff of the Cottage Nursing Home, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most sadly missed by her sons John and Seamus, daughers-in-law Philomena, Julie and Valerie, brother Donal, sisters Josie, Mary and Ettie, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandson, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Clancy will repose at Condon’s Funeral Parlour, Dillon Street, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, on Sunday evening, April 3rd, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
Her body will be received into the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, No.22 Gladstone Street, Oldbridge Clonmel, on Monday afternoon, April 4th, at 1:00pm to further repose for Requiem Mass, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mrs Clancy, but are unable to do so, due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic; same can be viewed online HERE.

[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending Requiem Mass will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing, face covering, with no hand shaking.]
