Gardaí continue their investigations after the body of a man was located in Co Tipperary yesterday.
The body of a male, aged in his 40s and missing for a number of days, was sadly located in the Gortnahoe, Thurles area at around 1:00pm yesterday.
His body was recovered by emergency services from a lake in the area.
His body have now been removed to Waterford University Hospital, where a post-mortem will now take place at a later date.
Gardaí have confirmed that the results of the post-mortem examination will determine the course of any further investigations, however, it is understood that foul play is not suspected.
