Death Of Michael Dwan, Thurles, Co.Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday, Thursday 3rd February 2022, of Mr Michael Dwan, Newtown House, Holycross, Thurles, Co.Tipperary, and late of Thurles, Co.Tipperary.

Predeceased by his son-in-law Frank, brothers Ned, Denis, Fr Martin and Jack, sisters Breda, Rita, Mary and infant Theresa; Mr Dwan passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of staff at of Acorn Lodge Nursing Home, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his devoted and loving wife Marie, daughters Michelle and Noelette (Duggan), sons William and Michael, grandchildren Emma, John and Niamh, daughters-in-law Samantha and Pauline, Michelle’s partner Malcolm, brothers Kevin and Liam, sisters Nancy and Kathleen, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law Ann, Lucy, Annette (Mee), Helen, Breda and Pauline, brother-in-law Michael (Ryan), cousins, extended relatives, good neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Dwan will repose at his place of residence (E41 E659) on Saturday afternoon, February 5th, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
His body will be received into the former Cistercian Abbey Church at Holycross, Thurles, on Sunday afternoon, February 6th, at 1:00pm to further repose for Requiem Mass at 1:30pm. Interment will take place immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mr Dwan, but are unable to do so, due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic; same can be viewed online HERE.

[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending Requiem Mass will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing, face covering, with no hand shaking.]
