Death Of Tim Cooney, Formerly Thurles, Co Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Saturday 22nd January 2022, of Mr Tim Cooney, Glenconnor, Clonmel and formerly of Lanespark, Ballynonty, Thurles, Co Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his daughter Carolyne; Mr Cooney passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Violet, son James, daughters Laura, Sharon, Tracey and Anita, grandchildren, brother Patsy, sisters Kathleen, Sheila and Margaret, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended Relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Cooney will repose at his home [E91 Y590] this afternoon, Sunday, January 23rd, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
His body will be received into St. Mary’s Church, Irishtown, Clonmel, on Monday at 12.00 noon, to further repose for Requiem Mass, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mr Cooney, but are unable to do so, due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic; same can be viewed online HERE.

[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending Requiem Mass will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing, face covering, with no hand shaking.]
